Moving

Well, we're almost done packing/loading/setting-stuff-out-on-the-curb-for-our-less-fortunate-neighbors-to-take. That's right, it's like our very own Flea Market right outside our door. The only difference is that instead of collecting money, we "collect" the pleasure of not having to move junk.

Example:

I really only wear 2 pairs of shoes (My New Balance 992s and my Crocs), but for some reason I had 5 other pair in my closet. Well, Carlye set those "extra" shoes outside on the curb display-style before we went to dinner. When we returned? You guessed it. Two pair were already "bought". I'll miss Bay City.

Georgia decided to help me pack. She got all the way into her cabinet and pulled all the cups out for me. Isn't she a big helper?? The great thing is that I had no clue she had climbed in there. She's such a big girl.

Our first family Easter picture. I don't know why we didn't take one last year. To get an idea of what last years would have looked like just think of Georgia as a 3 month old and add 40 pounds to both me and Marc.

How cute is Georgia?!? Honestly?!?!

I was looking at some pictures of her today, and I couldn't help but post a few. Enjoy.

Arlington

Well, we're moving.

After one year.... ONE YEAR... in Bay City, we're taking a coaching job at Arlington Sam Houston. Coach Edelman wanted to move closer to his family, and we are moving with him.

We're excited because now we'll be closer to our family as well... and I KNOW the Grandma's will be excited about that.

About Sam Houston High School:

- It's in Arlington ISD (we get a substantial raise)
- The ethnic makeup is similar to Hirschi High School
- They went 0-9 last year
- They've only won 4 games total in the last 4 years.

It will be a tough task from a coaching standpoint, but we are looking forward to meeting the kids and getting to work.

We'll keep you informed.

Just starting our blog

I'm thinking about making a permanent switch from myspace to blogspot for our family pictures and news. I like that there aren't any racy ads on blogspot. It seems a little more family friendly. Give me a little time to get it looking good.
