Booch and Bets House

Words cannot begin to describe the beauty of George and Betsy's back yard. These pictures don't even do it justice but it's a start. Their backyard is terraced down to a beautiful creek with fountains and ducks and catfish. Can you see why I'm in no hurry to move closer to Arlington?

Older pictures

If a good afternoon is sitting with your shirt off while your uncle does the same and your cousin walks around naked at the back of a moving van . . . you might be a red neck.

In case you didn't know, Georgia is too cool for school. Nommie bought her some sunglasses while we were packing to move. Georgia wore them for several hours. She now has 2 pairs that she wears all the time. She's already more stylish than I'll ever be.

My girls!! This is my aerobics group in Bay City. First Baptist has a wonderful ministry of exercise. We met Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 a.m. (or close to it) and worked our rear ends off. Litterally. These girls are the reason I lost my weight and the reason I loved Bay City so much. They are already greatly missed!

The weekend before we moved from Bay City, Marc had to fashion a gate at the bottom of the stairs because Georgia mastered climbing them. Easter Sunday we weren't watching and she made it almost all the way to the top of the stairs. We're proud of her athleticism but scared that she might fall. She did actually fall off that step she's sitting on about 2 seconds after I took the picture. Life's lessons are hard to learn.

Arboretum Play Date

We met some new friends at the Arboretum for a play date this morning. Georgia is posing with her little buddy, John. It was so much fun to let Georgia walk around all over such a beautiful place. She ended up being more interested in the dirt and rocks than the pretty flowers but I wasn't shocked. She's already a little bit of a tomboy, but a cautious one.

Little Gym Graduate

There's a Little Gym just a few blocks away from Bets and Booch's house. Georgia went on Tuesdays at 3:45 and loved it so much. Her semester ended last week so we took some pictures. They sang songs, explored all the equipment, did flips and back handsprings (with some help) and got to play in the bubbles. If you have a Little Gym near you, check it out. It was worth every penny!! We'll miss it.

Learning to use utensils

She's getting older. Georgia is starting to use spoons and forks. I didn't have a kids fork the first time I let her try so we just did the good ole plastic fork. She's better with a spoon and yogurt. I can't believe how much she's growing up.

Beautiful Girl

I dressed Georgia up and took some pictures to give as Mothers Day presents. This one turned out perfect. It's in George and Betsy's backyard. She's just so pretty!! - C

Georgia Dancing

Georgia loves, loves, loves, loves, LOVES to dance. She was dancing for Carlye, Betsy, Betsy's mom Barbara and Betsy's sister Bridget. She was very hyper.

I finally found my camera. Here's one picture of Georgia walking. I'll post more with some older pictures later. - C
